Join Glasgow Korfball Club

No experience needed. Your first session is completely free. Just turn up.

Just turn up — it really is that simple

Korfball is one of the most welcoming sports you'll find. We don't care if you've never heard of it before — most of our members hadn't. All you need is comfortable trainers and a willingness to give it a go. Your first session is on us.

Which session should I come to?

We run three training nights a week, each suited to different experience levels:

Best for beginners

Wednesday

7–9pm

Shawlands Academy

Whole team training

Open to everyone — all squads train together. Great if you want to see the full club in action and meet the whole team.

Best for beginners

Thursday

7–9pm

Notre Dame High School

3s, 4s & beginners

This is the best session for complete beginners. Our 4s squad trains here — a friendly, relaxed group where you'll learn the basics at your own pace.

Tuesday

7–9pm

Lourdes Secondary School

1s & 2s only

Our more experienced squads. Come along once you've had a few sessions under your belt — or if you have a korfball background already.

How to get involved

Step 1

Just turn up to training

No need to book — just show up to a Wednesday or Thursday session in comfortable trainers. We'll take care of the rest.

Step 2

Join the WhatsApp group

Our WhatsApp group is where training updates, social events, and last-minute changes get shared. It's the heartbeat of the club.

Step 3

Sign up on Spond

Spond is our team management app — you'll use it to confirm attendance at training and games. Free to download and easy to use.

Step 4

Find us on Meetup

Our Meetup page lists all upcoming sessions and events. Great for keeping track of what's on and for new members finding us for the first time.

Ready to give it a go?

Come along to your first free session — no booking required. Or if you'd prefer to say hello first, drop us a message and we'll get back to you.
